From the Startup Manager tab on Startup View’s interface, you can set it so that applications automatically run at startup. Locate a program, add it to the list, and it will run automatically once your Windows-powered PC boots up. Use the Startup Manager tab to select any application you want to run at startup.

From the Task Scheduler tab on Startup View’s interface, you can set it so that tasks run automatically, based on a schedule. You can set it so that an application automatically runs at a certain time. On top of that, you can set it so that your PC will shut down, log off, or restart at a certain time.

Download an installer, run it, and a setup wizard will show up and guide you through all the steps you need to take to install Task Scheduler on your Windows PC. Please note that you will be installing a trial version that you can use for evaluation purposes for a period of 30 days.

The Quick Look video that accompanies this article, quickly goes over the interface and briefly presents what you can do with Task Scheduler. I bring this up only to mention that the developer was considerate enough to post a video tutorial. You can check it out on Startup-View.com or on YouTube.

Get Task Scheduler and use it to automatically run applications at startup, to automatically start programs, and to automatically shut down, log off, or restart your PC.

Pros

There’s nothing complicated about installing Startup View on a Windows PC. There are just two tabs on the application’s interface: Startup Manager and Task Scheduler. Use Startup View to set it so that applications automatically run at startup, set it so that applications automatically launch at the time you specify, set it so your PC will automatically shut down, log off, or restart.

Cons

Trial limitations: Startup View is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.
